Our Chinese language courses (online or in our School – private or group lessons) have various entry levels with the ultimate aim of acquiring the official Language Certificates recognised by public and private entities.
The Certificate A1 corresponds to beginners, A2 to the elementary level. B1 corresponds to the intermediate level. B2 to upper intermediate. C1 corresponds to Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced and C2 to Mastery or proficiency.
1st Training Cycle: is completed with the preparation and acquisition of the Certificates: HSK 1 (A1) and HSK 2 (A2).
2nd Training Cycle: the second level is completed with the preparation and acquisition of the Certificates: HSK 3 (B1) and HSK 4 (B2).
3rd Training Cycle: the last level is completed with the preparation and acquisition of the higher Certificate HSK 5 (C1) and the Highest Certificate HSK 6 (C2).
The Bertamini Multilingual School additionally issues a valid Certificate of Attendance for each completed level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
Also: Business Chinese – for companies
Customised business regular or online courses for companies, entrepreneurs, travel agencies, hotel business executives or public bodys wishing to train executives or associates in the Chinese language.
The program includes courses on:
- Commercial and business correspondence and specific terminology.
- Tourism.
- Basic banking transactions, etc.
- Translation.
The programme is based on a teaching method especially designed for students of the Chinese language for business purposes and lasts 120-140 teaching hours. The vocabulary consists of 1200 words.

BTC (Business Test in Chinese Language). This is a test created by the Beijing University under the supervision of HANBAN (Office of Chinese Language Council International). The BCT combines practice and communication and is designed to evaluate the communication skills of students in entrepreneurship, daily life and social contact. In Greece, the Greece – China Association does not organize examinations for the moment, for this Certificate.
In this test any student can take part, regardless of age or competance level.
How long does it take to complete the three courses?
At this point, it is important to clarify that the programmes are flexible and depend on the curriculum or educational plan the student will choose. If eg the student chooses a rolling plan, without stopping during the summer, then the completion time of the programmes changes.
Courses for Adults
The time required to complete the First Cycle of this language is:
For adults: 4-6 quadrimesters for the preparation and acquisition of HSK 3 (B1) and 2 quadrimesters for HSK 4 (B2). If the student chooses to attend a summer or winter crash course the completion time is accelerated.
For the preparation and acquisition of the Higher Certificate HSK 5 C1 and the Highest Certificate HSK 6 C2 the duration is determined according to the scheme of study that the student has chosen (8 months for each level).
For Children and Teens
The time required to complete the 1st Cycle of this language is:
For Teenagers: 3 academic years of preparation for the Certificate B1 and 3 quadrimestrers for the Certificate B2.
For Children: 4 academic years of preparation for the Certificate B1 and 3 quadrimesters for the Certificate B2.
If the student chooses to attend a summer or winter crash course the completion time is accelerated.
For the preparation and acquisition of the Higher Certificate C1 and the Highest Certificate C2 the duration is determined according to the scheme of study that the student has chosen (10 months for each level).
